Scholarship Grant Process
StratLeade offers up to three grants a year to support study in the Master's in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability (MSLS) Programme at Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH). Grantees may receive up to $5,000 (USD) to augment living, travel, and academic expenses associated with their participation in the MSLS Programme .
The application period is open from April 15 to May 15 every year. Winners of the StratLeade grants are notified of their status by May 30. After acceptance of the awards, results are announced on StratLeade’s website.
Applicants will be considered if they are accepted to the autumn intake for the upcoming academic year at MSLS. StratLeade grants are directed toward scholars from countries listed as "Low", "Medium" or "High" on the United Nations Human Development Index.
Applicants are required to compose an essay of 1,000 words or less describing why their candidacy for the awards.The essays must address all five questions.
MSLS brings together a highly diverse cohort of 50 aspiring leaders. To help ensure the professional, geographic and cultural diversity of each cohort, StratLeade encourages applicants to highlight their personal experience and cultural heritage and demonstrate how their participation in the MSLS Programme will benefit their work toward sustainability."
Note: Awardees who are also required to forfeit their StratLeade grant should they be granted a scholarship through the Swedish Institute (SI) or other scholarships that cover full cost of studying in Sweden.
